Dr. Priya Rao has over 15 years of experience in general/family dentistry. She holds a BSc. from St. Aloysius College, a BDS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, and a DDS from University of Minnesota – School of Dentistry, as well as licenses to practice dentistry from the RCDSO, Ontario, Canada and MDC, Minnesota, USA.
Dr. Rao has lived in Toronto since 2016 and is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), Ontario Dental Association (ODA), Minnesota Dental Association (MDA), American Dental Association (ADA), and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
A strong believer in lifelong learning, Dr. Rao keeps herself updated in the science and practice of dentistry through various continuing education courses and programs. She has also completed a mini-residency program in Implant Dentistry from TIDE, Canada. Dr. Rao is passionate about dentistry and enjoys treating patients of all ages, including boisterous 3-year-olds and the youthful 90-year-olds! In her words, “The best part of my dental practice is the look and radiance on my patient’s face after I have taken care of their pain or dental problems”.
Dr. Rao lives in East York, Toronto, and when she is not busy tending to her patients, enjoys painting, reading, gardening, and exploring new places and countries.
