In-office teeth whitening is performed by a dentist at our clinic. Your dentist will first cover your lips and gums, leaving only your teeth exposed. A hydrogen peroxide gel will be applied to your teeth, and then exposed to a special LED light that activates the gel. The light works to break apart the carbon bonds that create the stains and discolouration, thereby starting the bleaching process, without affecting the structure of your teeth in any way. When the process is complete, you will be left with whiter and brighter teeth. The process typically takes about 60 minutes, and is repeated 3-4 times for best results.
Take-Home Teeth Whitening
Take-Home
Take-home teeth whitening offers you a safe and effective way to whiten your teeth at your own convenience, in the privacy of your own home. We send you home with custom made plastic trays that we create using impressions of your teeth, along with a hydrogen peroxide whitening gel. The trays are filled with the gel and worn over teeth for approximately 30 minutes, twice a day. Most patients see excellent results in just two weeks, although individual results can vary.
